H.H. the Crown Prince praises security officers for busting Lyrica manufacturing operation
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Tuesday received Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, who presented officials and personnel from the Ministry of Interior who played a key role in foiling Kuwait’s largest operation to manufacture psychoactive drug Lyrica.
Those presented to the Crown Prince included Director General of the General Administration for Drug Control Brigadier General Mohammed Qabazard, Assistant Director General Brigadier General Sheikh Hamad Mohammed Yousef Al-Sabah, and several members of the administration who played a role in foiling the operation.
During the meeting, the Crown Prince stressed the importance of implementing the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to safeguard Kuwait’s security and stability.
He praised the Ministry of Interior and its personnel for their security efforts and their continued fight against drugs, highlighting their role in protecting the country and its citizens from the spread of the scourge.
The Crown Prince wished the security personnel continued success and guidance in carrying out their duties. The meeting was attended by Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
