The Ministry of Social Affairs will revoke the identities of charity representatives violating Ramadan donation rules, suspending their licenses and barring further participation for the rest of the holy month.

The Ministry of Social Affairs has issued dozens of IDs in recent days and will continue until all charitable organizations requests are fulfilled. Delegates are assigned based on the organization’s branches and reach, with the ministry ensuring proper conduct and verifying criminal records.

As the holy month of Ramadan approaches and the 22nd donation collection project is launched, informed sources from the Ministry of Social Affairs confirmed that inspectors from the Kuwait Society for Humanitarian Relief and Development will revoke the identities of representatives from charitable organizations participating in the project who violate the regulations governing charitable work. The licenses of the associations they represent will be immediately suspended, and they will be barred from participating for the remainder of the holy month.

The sources explained to Al-Jarida newspaper that the concerned administration has begun receiving the names of representatives from charitable organizations participating in the 22nd project who will be collecting donations at mosques. They noted that the associations’ administration is working to ensure the representatives’ proper conduct and verify that their criminal records are clear of specific cases and crimes.
