Prince Sultan bin Saad assumes leadership of diplomatic corps in Kuwait

The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Kuwait, H.E. Prince Sultan bin Saad, has expressed profound pride in the confidence bestowed upon him following his appointment as Dean of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Kuwait.

He has reaffirmed his dedication to close collaboration with fellow ambassadors to advance the interests of the diplomatic community and enhance collective cooperation.

In a press statement, Prince Sultan bin Saad extended his sincere gratitude to the outgoing Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kuwait, H.E. Dr. Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda, praising his contributions during his tenure in Kuwait. He also thanked the ambassadors of Palestine, Comoros, Yemen, and Nicaragua for their support and endorsement of his appointment as Dean.

He noted that the Government of Kuwait, represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, continues to spare no effort in facilitating the work of diplomatic missions and removing any obstacles they may face, emphasizing that this support reflects Kuwait’s consistent commitment to advancing diplomatic work and strengthening international relations.

Prince Sultan added that diplomatic work in Kuwait is conducted in an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual understanding, expressing his eagerness to continue working with fellow ambassadors in a way that serves both their countries’ interests and the wider diplomatic community.

He further described Kuwait as his “second homeland,” saying he does not feel like a foreign ambassador but rather lives among family and brothers, reflecting the deep-rooted fraternal and historical ties between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

In conclusion, he expressed appreciation for the warm sentiments he received from members of the diplomatic corps following his selection as Dean, noting that it reflects their goodwill and strong sense of collegiality.
