PM drives investment push, holds high-level talks with Brookfield CEO

Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held high-level meetings with Brookfield CEO Bruce Flatt underscoring Kuwait’s drive to attract foreign investment, deepen strategic partnerships, and accelerate economic development.

Kuwait reaffirmed its commitment to expanding global investment partnerships and strengthening strategic international relations as His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met on Tuesday with Brookfield Chief Executive Officer Bruce Flatt.

During his meeting with Flatt and the accompanying delegation, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of enhancing economic and commercial cooperation with leading international companies and encouraging greater foreign investment to support Kuwait’s economic diversification and development agenda.

He stressed that attracting high-quality international investments remains a key national priority to improve the business environment and advance major development projects in line with the vision of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The meeting was attended by senior government officials, including Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Housing Affairs Abdul Latif Al-Mashari, Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaizeem, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority Sheikh Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah, and other senior officials.
