Online e-Visa application platform for Thai visa launched

Starting January 1, 2025, any national with a Residence Permit in the State of Kuwait who wishes to apply for a Thai visa and submit his/her application, must use the new online e-Visa platform at: https://www.thaievisa.go.th

It is noteworthy that it’s no longer required for the applicant to submit their passport and original supporting documents in person at the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait when applying for a Thai visa.

Once the e-Visa application has been approved, a confirmation email will be sent to the applicant. It is kindly requested that the applicant print a copy of this confirmation email to present to the airline at the port of departure and to Thai immigration officials upon arrival in Thailand.

The Embassy will continue to accept in-person visa applications until 24 December 2024.
