One killed, several injured and damage to key facilities including diplomatic mission in Kuwait

Kuwait Condemns Iranian Missile and Drone Attacks on Civilian Facilities

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday strongly condemned and denounced, in the “strongest terms,” what it described as ongoing Iranian attacks using ballistic missiles and drones, including the latest strike at dawn targeting civilian and vital infrastructure, among them Kuwait International Airport.

The Ministry said the attack resulted in the death of one person, injuries to others, and damage to key facilities, including diplomatic missions.

It affirmed Kuwait’s categorical rejection of what it described as “overt aggressive attacks,” warning that such actions risk further escalation, heighten regional tensions, and constitute a flagrant violation of international law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026.

The Ministry stressed that Kuwait’s sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens and residents are a “red line that cannot be crossed,” adding that repeated attacks reflect an organized pattern of aggression that Kuwait “will neither accept nor tolerate.”

It further stated that the State of Kuwait reserves its full and inherent right to take appropriate measures in response to these repeated aggressions, in accordance with international law.
