Teen arrested after missing girl found dead in South Wales
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a body believed to be that of 14-year-old Lilly, who had been reported missing in Blaina, south Wales.
The body was found in the Duffryn Park area on Monday night. Formal identification is yet to take place, but Lilly’s family has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers, according to BBC.
Lilly was last seen on High Street in Blaina on Saturday evening. Police have launched a major investigation and are continuing inquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding her death.
A significant police presence remains in the area as detectives appeal for information and urge the public not to speculate while the investigation is ongoing.
