The US recorded over 67,000 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours as Brazil’s new cases topped 57,000. The US recorded 67,619 new coronavirus cases and 1,233 reported deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The tally showed that the confirmed coronavirus cases in the US now stands at4,494,601 آ and at least 152,055 deaths.
Meanwhile, Brazil’s health ministry reported 57,837 new coronaviruses in the past 24 hours and 1,129 deaths, bringing the country’s confirmed cases to 2,610,102 and 91,263 deaths.
The US and Brazil rank first and second globally in the number of confirmed cases and deaths.
