The US recorded over 61,000 new coronavirus cases and Brazil at least 23,500 new cases in the past 24 hours.
According to Johns Hopkins University Monday, the US recorded 61,487 new coronavirus and 415 new deaths. The tally showed that the confirmed cases in the US reached at least 3,773,260 and140,534 deaths.
Meanwhile, Brazilآ’s Health Ministry reported 23,529 new coronavirus cases and 716 reported deaths. The total confirmed cases in Brazil reached 2,098,389 as the total deaths reached 79,488.
The US and Brazil rank first and second globally in the number of confirmed cases and deaths.
