The United States of America recorded over 25,000 new coronavirus cases while Brazil reported over 32,000 in the last 24 hours as the two countries rank the first and second globally in the coronavirus cases and deaths.
According to Johns Hopkins University, 25,583 new coronavirus cases and 755 deaths were reported in the US in the past 24 hours.
There are now 2,163,290 confirmed coronavirus cases, in the US and 117,717 reported deaths, the tally showed.
As for Brazil, 32,188 new coronavirus cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the country’s total to 955,377. Up to 1,269 new deaths were reported in the country, bringing the total to 46,510.
