The confirmed coronavirus cases in the US reached 1,127,712 Saturday, whereas the reported deaths reached 66,075, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The tally showed that the confirmed cases in New York, the hardest-hit state, reached 312,977 and the deaths at least 24,198.
This comes as several states across the nation have lifted their stay at home orders even though there remains to be a spike in cases and deaths.
