On behalf of the Government, the Embassy and the people of Türkiye and on my own behalf, it is my pleasure to extend sincere greetings and warm wishes to the leadership, Government and people of Kuwait, on the jubilant occasion of Kuwait’s 62nd National Day and 32nd Liberation Day.
May Allah give best of health, happiness and long life to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, and His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait.
The sacrifices the Kuwaiti people made in the name of their country would forever stand the test of time. It is my earnest hope that the brotherly people of Kuwait will enjoy continued happiness, prosperity and advancement in the future.
I am proud that Türkiye and Kuwait have enjoyed brotherly relationship for centuries. I am certain that these unbreakable ties will continue to grow and gain strength in the years ahead.
This year, our joy of National Day is muted by grief, as we are still reeling from our losses due to devastating earthquakes that stroke Türkiye on the 6th of February. We are grateful to the leadership and the people of Kuwait for sharing our sorrow and standing with us in such a difficult time.
With these feelings in mind, I once again congratulate the people of Kuwait on the occasion of national and liberation days.
