The Holy See and the State of Kuwait have enjoyed excellent relations and cooperation down the years. It is my hope that the existing bonds of friendship will be further enhanced for the mutual benefit of both parties. To this end, inter-religious dialogue can build bridges of fraternity and trust among peoples of different faiths.
The Catholic community in Kuwait is eager to play its part in the cultural and religious life of the country so that it can be a model of pluralism and peaceful coexistence in the region.
