This brings total number of coronavirus infections in the country to 197,608

Saudi Arabia reported 3,383 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 197,608, the Ministry of Health announced on Thursday (July 2).

In recent days there was a slight rise in the recovery growth curve, by which the recoveries in the Kingdom are higher than the number of cases.

The ministry reported 4,909 recoveries today, with total recoveries in the kingdom at 137,669. There are 1,752 cases in intensive care.

The ministry also confirmed 54 deaths, bringing the total number of deaths in the kingdom to 1,752.

Qatar announces 3 deaths, 894 new coronavirus cases

Qatar’s total number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus have jumped to 97,784 with the detection of 894 new cases on Thursday.

The Ministry of Public Health announced three more fatalities, taking the death tally to 118.

According to the latest coronavirus updates, 2,632 COVID-19 infected patients have fully recovered during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 86,597.

There are 11,182 active cases, including 779 critical and 187 seriously ill patients under intensive care.

The ministry screened 5,593 people over the past 24 hours across the country, raising the total number of tested people to 366,095.
