Dammam reported the highest number of confirmed infections on Thursday, with 333 new cases

Saudi Arabia reported 3,139 new coronavirus cases and 41 more deaths, the Health Ministry said during its daily press conference on Thursday.

This takes the Kingdom’s overall infections to 170,639, while its fatality tally has risen to 1,428. Among the total infections are 51,325 active cases, including 2,206 critically ill patients who received treatment under intensive care.

According to the ministry, 5,085 infected patients have fully recovered, bringing to 117,882 the total number of recovered people.

Dammam reported the highest number of confirmed infections on Thursday, with 333 new cases, followed by Mecca with 331, Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Mohammad Al Abdul Ali said during the conference.

For the fourth day in a row, Riyadh has continued to record a decline in its daily reported cases with 241.

“The Kingdom has continued to register a spike in the recovered cases compared to the newly detected ones,” Dr. Al Abdul Ali said.
