On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and on my own behalf, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Government and the people of the State of Kuwait on the auspicious occasions of Kuwait’s 62nd anniversary of National Day and 32nd anniversary of Liberation Day, which fall on 25 and 26 February respectively. These occasions coincide with the Silver Jubilee of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Myanmar and Kuwait, which will fall on 16 December this year.
Myanmar and Kuwait have long enjoyed strong diplomatic relations and constructive cooperation based on mutual respect and understanding. I am confident that longstanding friendship and cooperation between our two countries will be further consolidated and expanded through increased interactions and concerted efforts between the governments and peoples of Myanmar and Kuwait in the coming years for our common interests.
On these blissful events, I wish good health and success to the leadership and the people of the State of Kuwait and further progress and prosperity as well as lasting peace and stability to the State of Kuwait.
