Kuwait Cricket Club announced the commencement of the Women’s Cricket Soft Ball tournament on January 29, 2021, at Sulaibiya Cricket Ground.
Kuwait Women’s Team is ranked 29th in ICC T20 rankings. The team has qualified for Asia Cup Qualifiers based on rankings as well as the ICC World Cup Qualifiers scheduled to take place in Q3 / Q4 2021.
Softball cricket is a massive opportunity for the young girls in Kuwait to get introduced to proper hardball cricket and show their skills which could pave the way for either Development Squad or National Squad.
The tournament is a one-day event and maximum participation from 8 teams.
Interested women can register by sending a WhatsApp message to Mr. Husnain Arshad on- 50067200 (Head of Women’s Cricket) and Coach Tariq Rasool 94479747 on or before 26th Jan 5:00 PM Kuwait time.
Format of the tournament with final confirmed registrations will be announced on 27th Jan.
