The tally showed that the confirmed cases worldwide reached 7,036,623 whereas the reported deaths reached 403,211.
The US leads the world in the number of cases and deaths as the confirmed cases across the nation neared two million and the reported deaths 110,514.
Brazil ranks second globally in the number of coronavirus cases, reaching almost 700,000.
