Nazaha spending touches 10.3m dinars, Kuwait covers 10.2-million-dinar gap
The Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha) recorded expenditures of approximately 10.296 million dinars during the 2025/2026 fiscal year, compared with revenues of just 81.218 thousand dinars, according to its final accounts.
The figures show an expenditure gap of approximately 10.215 million dinars, reflecting the difference between Nazaha’s spending and its revenues during the fiscal year.
According to Decree-Law No. 101 of 2026, published in Kuwait Today, the gap was covered through the budgets of ministries and government departments, under the Ministry of Finance – General Accounts.
The figures form part of Kuwait’s official final-account records for the 2025/2026 fiscal year. The government’s overall final accounts for the year recorded revenues of about 16.457 billion dinars against expenditures of approximately 23.598 billion dinars, with the resulting deficit covered from the General Reserve Fund.
