Municipality campaign targets unlicensed street vendors in Jahra

The Jahra Governorate Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy Department of the Kuwait Municipality has removed seven illegal mobile carts and issued two violation reports against street vendors as part of an ongoing campaign to regulate public spaces and eliminate unauthorized commercial activities.
The action followed field inspections carried out by municipal teams after monitoring violations related to street vending in various areas of Al-Jahra.
The authorities said the campaign aims to protect public cleanliness, maintain orderly streets and ensure compliance with municipal regulations.
Director of the Department, Nawaf Al-Mutairi, said the latest inspection campaign was part of continued efforts to address illegal street vending practices.
Municipal authorities have repeatedly urged residents and businesses to comply with regulations, warning that violations affecting public roads and spaces will continue to be addressed through regular monitoring campaigns.
