MoSA reports 50 percent employee attendance post-Eid

Fatima Al-Salama, Director of the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Social Affairs, announced that employee attendance following the Eid al-Adha holiday was 50 percent.

She highlighted ongoing efforts to enforce job discipline and facilitate a gradual return to full operational capacity across all sectors and departments, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Al-Salama reassured that despite the initial low attendance on the first day after the holiday, the ministry remains committed to providing uninterrupted services to beneficiaries.

She pointed out that administrative officials are closely monitoring employees’ adherence to workplace attendance and timely commencement of duties according to established regulations.

Furthermore, Al-Salama revealed that the ministry is working to create a motivating work environment and is preparing to launch several initiatives aimed at boosting employee commitment, discipline, and performance. These efforts align with the ministry’s goals of better serving the community.

She stressed that job commitment is fundamental to the success of any service institution and described the remedial measures as a gradual administrative process designed to restore regular workflows and ensure efficient and timely delivery of services to citizens and residents.
