MOI warns against illegal entry into Nature Reserves, vows strict legal action against violators

The Ministry of Interior has issued a stern warning against entering nature reserves across the country, emphasizing that any unauthorized entry, hunting, or wandering within these protected areas constitutes a violation of the law and will be met with strict legal measures.

In a statement, the ministry said that vehicles, hunting tools, and falcons used in illegal hunting activities within the reserves will be confiscated, and legal action will be taken against offenders in coordination with the Environment Public Authority and other competent , reports Al-Rai daily.

The measure forms part of ongoing efforts to safeguard the environment and wildlife.

The Ministry reaffirmed that field campaigns are continuing nationwide to curb practices that harm the ecosystem or threaten natural habitats, stressing that no leniency will be shown toward anyone who tampers with environmental resources or disregards regulations.

It urged all citizens and residents to comply fully with environmental laws and reserve regulations, highlighting that preservation of natural resources is a shared national responsibility and that violators will face appropriate legal consequences under current legislation.
