Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday that Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams of Kuwait Army, the Ministry of Interior, and the Kuwait National Guard handled 13 reports related to falling shrapnel resulting from defensive interception operations over the past 24 hours.
This brings the total number of reports since the beginning of the Iranian aggression on Kuwait to 629, said the Director General of the General Department of Security Relations and Media and official spokesperson for the Ministry, Brigadier General Nasser Bouslaib during a press briefing.
During the briefing, Bouslaib presented a visual presentation outlining the efforts of teams in dealing with reports related to falling shrapnel or objects outside the threat zone.
He noted that the Ministry of Interior extends its sincere appreciation to those who voluntarily handed over unlicensed weapons during the exceptional grace period, reflecting responsible awareness and national commitment, and contributing directly to correcting legal status and enhancing security and stability in the country.
He prayed Allah Almighty to protect Kuwait and preserve its security and stability under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
