The Central Agency for Information Technology has approved a new fee structure for services related to information technology companies, training institutes, certificates and attestation services, with the new charges taking effect on January 1, 2027.

Under Decision No. 11 of 2026, published in Kuwait Alyawm, previous registration fees for information systems companies and related services under Ministerial Decision No. 45 of 2001 have been cancelled and replaced with the new fees.

The registration fee for an IT company will be 200 dinars, covering the review process and issuance of the registration certificate, while annual renewal will cost 100 dinars, including updating company information.

The decision also sets fees of 50 dinars for each main IT field and 25 dinars for each specialized field.
For training institutes, the registration fee will be 250 dinars, covering the review of curricula and trainers, while annual renewal will cost 100 dinars, including updates to training programs.

Additional fees ranging from 10 to 50 dinars will apply to various certificates, reports and attestation services, depending on the type of service requested.

The Central Agency for Information Technology will collect the fees and issue the relevant registration certificates in accordance with applicable financial procedures and regulations.

The agency has also been instructed to update the relevant forms, procedures and electronic systems and take the necessary administrative, technical and financial measures to implement the new fee structure.

The decision will come into force on January 1, 2027, and will be published in the official gazette.
