Minister Al-Yousef stresses integrated healthcare for MOI employees
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah praised the Ministry of Health for its continued cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, stressing the importance of joint efforts to improve healthcare services for Interior Ministry employees.
Speaking during his sponsorship and attendance at the emergency clinic in the Nawaf Al-Ahmad Building, Al-Yousef said providing employees with an integrated work environment and paying attention to their health are priorities that can positively affect their efficiency and performance.
The event was attended by Interior Ministry Undersecretary Major General Abdul Wahab Al-Wahib, Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, and a number of officials from both ministries.
Al-Yousef toured the clinic’s facilities and departments and received a detailed briefing on its operating procedures and the medical services provided to Ministry of Interior personnel, both military and civilian.
The opening of the clinic reflects cooperation between the Ministries of Interior and Health to strengthen healthcare integration and provide medical services that meet the health needs of Interior Ministry employees while supporting their working environment.
Dr. Salman Al-Sabah said the clinic represents an addition to the healthcare services available to Ministry of Interior employees. He stressed the Ministry of Health’s commitment to supporting employees, facilitating their access to medical care and improving the quality of services provided to them.
The clinic provides medical care to military and civilian personnel within the Ministry of Interior’s headquarters, allowing employees faster and easier access to healthcare while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
