Kuwait’s first “Snow Village” opens on Thursday

In a significant step to enrich Kuwait’s recreational tourism offerings, the Tourism Enterprises Company has unveiled plans to open the “Snow Village” in the country.

Set to launch on Thursday, 2 January 2025, at the Equestrian Club, the event will run for two months, with tickets available at 7.5 dinars per person with a limited number of admissions.

The Tourism Enterprises Company revealed that the “Snow Village” will feature a restaurant hall and an ice hall, complete with mazes and slides. The village will operate with a scheduled display system, where each show is booked for two hours, and will be open to both adults and children.

The company also mentioned that the “Snow Village” offers a unique experience in a cold atmosphere, with temperatures dropping to below -11 degrees Celsius, allowing visitors to enjoy a truly distinctive snowy environment.

Ticket sales for the “Snow Village” began on 25 December, with bookings available through the “Tourism Projects” application.

The “Snow Village” is expected to draw significant attendance, especially from families and children, due to the festive Christmas and New Year atmosphere.
