Kuwait’s Education Ministry launches ‘Learner Care Centers’ across all regions

The Ministry of Education announced the launch of ‘Learner Care Centers’ across all regions, with classes beginning from March that will continue until mid-May 2025. Registration remains open throughout the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year for all grade levels.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Education pointed out that the registration covers following subjects; Arabic, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and French for intermediate and secondary levels, while primary level availability depends on the number of registrants. Registration takes place at the same center, with fees set at 25 KD per subject for intermediate and secondary levels. A discount reduces the fee to 20 KD per subject if a student registers for multiple subjects or if two siblings enroll at the same center.

The Ministry stated that each subject includes 20 study hours, with two hours per week, conducted in the evening from Sunday to Wednesday.

The Ministry stated that learner care centers aim to provide integrated educational services that include reinforcement lessons and educational programs to support struggling students and help outstanding learners achieve excellence. Students are grouped into small classes of 10 to 15 to ensure personalized learning tailored to the needs of each student accordingly.

Moreover, the Ministry emphasized its commitment in selecting best teachers from regional schools to lead educational programs in these centers, under the direct supervision of the Educational Affairs Department. It also encouraged parents to enroll their children to benefit from the specialized programs and support services offered.
