Kuwaiti man sentenced to death for brutal killing of his mother
A Criminal Court has sentenced a Kuwaiti citizen to death, who is found guilty of murdering his mother in the suburb of Saad Al-Abdullah.
According to case details, the accused allegedly slit her throat and was later arrested by security forces while still in possession of the weapon used in the crime, repots Al-Rai.
The Public Prosecution had earlier called for the maximum penalty, and the court ultimately handed down the death sentence.
