Kuwait Minister of Oil in Manama for energy talks
Kuwait’s Oil Minister Tarek Al-Roumi is set to join his counterparts from across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for talks to ratchet up energy cooperation within the six-member bloc, the Kuwaiti oil ministry said on Sunday.
The talks, slated for today (Monday) in the Bahraini capital Manama, will delve into matters and suggestions pitched by relevant committees, all of which entail greater energy cooperation between GCC member states in a bid to “serve their joint interests,” according to the statement.
The Kuwaiti delegation, headed by the oil minister, comprises a number of top officials from the Kuwaiti oil ministry.
