Kuwait Gulf Oil and Ahmadi Governorate welcome Gulf brothers for National Day festivities
The event showcased Kuwait’s rich heritage, welcoming visitors with Nuwaiseeb port decorations by Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, hospitality, souvenirs, and Al-Ardha band performances, celebrating national pride and Gulf traditions during the national festivities.
• Governor of Al-Ahmadi Governorate Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah stated that the event marking the national celebrations at Nuwaiseeb land port reflects appreciation for our brothers from the GCC countries, welcoming them to their second home among family.
In celebration of National Day and Liberation Day, the Al-Ahmadi Governorate, led by Governor Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and in collaboration with the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, hosted an event at the Nuwaiseeb land port.
This gathering welcomed our brothers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, reinforcing the strong ties and historical relations between Kuwait and its GCC partners, as reported by Al Rai newspaper.
During the celebration, Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation toured the port facilities and extended their congratulations on the occasion of the national celebrations to employees of the Passports and Customs Department and representatives of government agencies at the port.
The Governor also visited service facilities in Al-Khiran City, where he congratulated Interior Ministry personnel at Al-Khiran Police Station, firefighters at Al-Khiran Fire Force, and the medical team at Al-Khiran Medical Center.
He praised their vital role in serving the nation, fulfilling their professional and national duties throughout the year and during holidays, and reviewed the services provided while exploring ways to enhance joint cooperation to improve work quality.
The event, aimed at showcasing the country’s rich heritage and sharing the joy of the national celebrations with visitors, featured Kuwait Gulf Oil Company decorating the Nuwaiseeb land port, offering hospitality and souvenirs to arrivals, and hosting artistic performances by the Al-Ardha band, reflecting Kuwait’s culture and traditions.
For his part, the Governor stated that this event reflects appreciation for our brothers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, welcoming them to their second home among family and brothers.
He emphasized that it embodies the Arab and Gulf traditions we take pride in and highlighted that the cooperation between Ahmadi Governorate and the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company is part of joint efforts to enhance services at the governorate’s facilities, particularly border crossings. This collaboration aims to present an honorable image of the country and share the joy of national celebrations with all.
On this occasion, the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company reaffirmed its commitment to actively participating in national events and strengthening ties with the community. The company also praised its collaboration with Ahmadi Governorate in this celebration and acknowledged the vital role of the port as the country’s gateway, facilitating the movement of travelers.
