KSE registers notable declines in consecutive sessions
In the second consecutive session, the Kuwait Stock Exchange indices registered notable declines. The Premier Market Index dropped by 0.41%, or 30.07 points, closing at 7238.31 points, accompanied by a liquidity of 77 million dinars.
A total of 236.7 million shares exchanged hands through 14,882 transactions, with 118 shares actively traded. Among them, 40 gained, 65 lost, and 13 remained unchanged, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The Premier Market Index experienced a 0.52% decrease, losing 41.26 points and closing at 7,918.19 points, with a liquidity of 65.8 million dinars. Trading involved 175.5 million shares through 9,865 deals, with 31 shares in play –11 gaining, 18 losing, and 2 remaining unchanged. The main market index saw a marginal decline of 0.02%, or 1.33 points, closing at 5,971.78 points, with liquidity totaling 11.1 million dinars.
A total of 61.2 million shares were traded through 5,017 transactions, with 87 shares involved—29 gaining, 47 losing, and 11 remaining unchanged.
