The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation’s (KPC) Higher Procurement Committee has given the nod to award two contracts worth a combined maximum of approximately 96.55 million dinars to ADNOC Drilling Company PJSC for the supply of two mobile offshore drilling rigs to the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC).
According to Kuwait Alyawm, the committee reviewed KOC’s request and approved awarding the contracts for Rig-1 and Rig-2 to ADNOC Drilling after determining that the company had submitted the lowest bid and met all the terms, technical requirements and specifications set out in the tender documents.
The contracts will provide KOC with two mobile offshore drilling rigs, marking a major procurement award in support of Kuwait’s offshore oil operations.
