KMWA Kuwait celebrates Eid with joyous get-together

The event brings together a large gathering of community members and leaders in a celebration of unity, spiritual reflection, and cultural harmony.

A highlight of the evening was the Islamic Model Making Competition for children, which showcased young talent and creativity while deepening awareness of Islamic history.

The Karnataka Muslim Welfare Association (KMWA) – Kuwait held its annual Eid Get-Together 2025 on April 11 at Rajdhani Palace Restaurant, Khaitan, bringing together a large gathering of community members and leaders in a celebration of unity, spiritual reflection, and cultural harmony.

The event was graced by the presence of distinguished dignitaries and prominent leaders, including Presidents, General Secretaries, and other office bearers from various Karnataka-based associations in Kuwait. These included GSB Sabha Kuwait, Mogaveera Association Kuwait, Tulu Koota Kuwait, KCWA, Billava Sangha, Bantara SanghaKuwait, Kuwait Kannada Koota, and others.

The dignitaries lauded KMWA’s continued efforts in promoting inter-community harmony and emphasized that Eid is a festival symbolizing peace, compassion, and coexistence.

The keynote address was delivered by Br. B.S. Sharafuddin, a renowned speaker, who eloquently spoke on the essence of Eid and the importance of communal unity. His thought-provoking message deeply resonated with the audience.

The program featured a spiritually uplifting Qur’an recitation and translation by Br. Atheeq Bayazeed, who also conducted an engaging and informative quiz, energizing the gathering with enthusiastic participation.

A highlight of the evening was the Islamic Model Making Competition for children, which showcased young talent and creativity while deepening awareness of Islamic history. This initiative, meticulously organized by the KMWA Ladies Wing, received heartfelt appreciation for its success and impact.

The smooth and dynamic execution of the event reflected the hard work and dedication of the KMWA Core Team and volunteers, who contributed selflessly to its success.

In his concluding remarks, KMWA President Mr. JameelAhmed extended a warm vote of thanks to all dignitaries, participants, and the wider community. He emphasized, “Eid is a celebration of togetherness, and unity in diversity remains our greatest strength.”

The evening concluded with a delightful community dinner, heartfelt conversations, and strengthened bonds of brotherhood—perfectly capturing the spirit of Eid.
