KMWA family get-together sees strong community turnout
The Karnataka Muslim Welfare Association (KMWA) hosted its Family Get-Together 2026 at Masjid Al-Kabir in Kuwait, drawing a large gathering of families, members and community well-wishers in a program focused on strengthening family values and social cohesion.
A key highlight of the event was a talk by noted speaker B.S. Sharafuddin, who addressed the gathering on “Modern Challenges of Family Life & Islamic Solutions.”
He spoke about the importance of strengthening family bonds, preserving Islamic values, and addressing the challenges faced by families in a rapidly changing social environment. His remarks were well received by the audience.
The event was attended by several community leaders and dignitaries, including IMA Kuwait President Umar Falahi, Mohammed Salar, and KKMA representatives B.M. Iqbal, Yusuf Rasheed and Yusuf Muniyam underscoring cooperation among community organisations in Kuwait.
Speaking on the occasion, Umar Falahi praised KMWA’s efforts in promoting unity and family values, while also welcoming new members to the association and encouraging their active participation in welfare and community initiatives.
As part of the program, prizes, gifts and certificates were distributed to winners and participants of the KMWA Ramadan Online Quiz Competition 2026.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by KMWA President Jameel Ahamed, followed by dinner and fellowship, leaving participants with renewed appreciation for family values and community solidarity.
