Jinan Boushehri announces candidacy for National Assembly Vice President

Representative Dr. Jenan Boushehri announced her candidacy for the position of Vice President of the National Assembly “in an effort to strengthen the relationship between the legislative and executive authorities and to work on creating a basis for understanding between ministers and representatives.”

While Boushehri expressed her aspiration to gain the confidence of the representatives, she stressed that running for office is a democratic process that does not spoil the amicability of an issue. She further emphasized that if she is honored with the assignment or relieved of it, she extends the hand of cooperation to everyone.
