BPP Marks Independence Day, 150 Years of Vande Mataram

Under the leadership of Bharatiya Pravasi Parishad (BPP), Kuwait, and in cooperation with the Embassy of India in Kuwait, India’s Independence Day and the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram were celebrated with a grand and colourful programme.



The programme commenced with a soulful rendition of Vande Mataram, presented by members of the Indian community representing different states of India living in Kuwait. The performance beautifully reflected India’s rich cultural diversity and added colour and splendour to the celebrations. The presentation titled “Bharat Darshan” further enriched the cultural appeal of the programme.

The President of Bharatiya Pravasi Parishad, Shri Hari Balaramapuram, delivered the welcome address. H.E. Smt. Pramila Tripathi, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, inaugurated the programme and delivered the inaugural address. The General Secretary of Bharatiya Pravasi Parishad, Shri Raj Bhandari, proposed the vote of thanks.

With the enthusiastic participation of Indians from various states across Kuwait, the celebration became a beautiful reflection of national unity, cultural diversity, and the spirit of India. Highlighting the inspiring message of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat,” the celebration became a proud and memorable national event for the Indian community in Kuwait.

The Central Committee members and office bearers of Bharatiya Pravasi Parishad took the lead in organising and conducting the programme. Their dedicated efforts, along with the active cooperation and participation of members of the Indian community from different states, contributed greatly to the success of this memorable celebration.
