Iraqi President greets HH the Amir on Hijri New Year

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call today from the Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid, who extended his heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the New Hijri Year.

President Rashid wished His Highness continued health and prosperity, and prayed that the new year brings blessings to both Kuwait and Iraq, as well as to the wider Arab and Islamic world.

During the conversation, the two leaders reviewed the strong fraternal ties between their countries and discussed ways to further enhance cooperation across various sectors. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments and topics of mutual interest.

His Highness the Amir expressed his sincere appreciation for President Rashid’s warm gesture, affirming the deep-rooted bonds between the two nations.

He also conveyed his own greetings and best wishes for Iraq’s continued progress and prosperity under President Rashid’s leadership.
