India’s EAM Dr. Jaishankar arrives in Kuwait for high-level talks

Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar arrived in Kuwait on Tuesday as part of a wider six-nation diplomatic tour aimed at strengthening India’s strategic partnerships across the Gulf region and beyond.
Dr. Jaishankar’s visit to Kuwait, which runs from July 7 to 9, includes high-level meetings with Kuwaiti leadership and senior officials to discuss ways to further expand bilateral cooperation in key sectors including trade, investment, energy security, technology, education and consular affairs.\

During the visit, the Indian minister is expected to hold official talks with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, in addition to meetings with senior state officials. Discussions will also cover regional developments and issues of mutual interest amid evolving geopolitical dynamics in the Gulf.
The visit reflects the “strategic depth” of relations between India and Kuwait and underscores New Delhi’s commitment to strengthening ties with Gulf partners.
