Kuwait’s Ambassador to Austria, Talal Al-Fassam, announced that a high-level Austrian trade delegation will visit Kuwait from May 5 to 7, as part of joint efforts to strengthen economic and trade relations between the two countries.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Ambassador Al-Fassam noted that the delegation will include representatives from 22 leading Austrian companies active across a range of sectors, including healthcare, investment, renewable energy, firefighting technologies, construction project management, oil and gas, and tourism. The purpose of the visit is to explore partnership opportunities and foster cooperation in key sectors of mutual interest.
He highlighted that the visit is the result of coordinated efforts between the Kuwaiti Embassy in Vienna and the Arab-Austrian Economic Chamber, in collaboration with economic chambers across Austria and the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The initiative aims to build stronger links between the business communities of both countries and open new avenues for collaboration.
Ambassador Al-Fassam reaffirmed Kuwait’s warm welcome of the delegation, emphasizing that the visit represents a significant step toward expanding bilateral cooperation and attracting high-quality investments that align with the goals of the New Kuwait 2035 Vision.
He further underscored the importance of this visit in deepening Kuwaiti-Austrian economic ties, particularly in sectors that hold strategic and future value.
