Hawalli Municipal Council committee approvers several MOI requests

The Municipal Council in the Hawalli Governorate has approved a request from the Ministry of Interior to allocate a site for ‘vehicle impoundment garage’ near the General Department for Narcotics Control building in Salmiya, Block 10.

During its meeting yesterday, the committee also approved a request by the Environment Public Authority to establish a coffee shop inside the Environmental Pollutants Building in Salmiya, Block 1, according to Al-Rai daily.

The committee also approved a proposal submitted by council member Nasser Al-Jadaan to construct a pedestrian bridge on Al-Taawon Street between Salwa and Anjafa Beach.

This is in addition to an approval given to the Ministry of Interior request to create a new entrance and exit on Street 6, Lane 4, Plot 168 in Salmiya.

Another request approved was to annex a state-owned area of 214 square meters to Plot 8 of Layout M/39664 in Salmiya, Block 7.

Finally, the committee took note of a proposal by member Fahad Al-Abduljader to build speed-breakers on Khaled Abdul Latif Al-Muslim Street in Salam, Block 3.
