Government plan to ready second row of senior officials

The government has issued directives to state institutions on the necessity of qualifying a second row of senior officials and supervisors, in preparation for quickly filling vacant positions to fill administrative vacuum that disrupts the progress of work.

The sources indicated that the Civil Service Commission is in the process of holding a training program aimed at preparing the second row of senior officials. The program aims to enable these officials to become familiar with modern management methods of delegation, empowerment, and planning and qualify them to complete the job succession plan, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The sources indicated that the program expected to be held next May carries 6 training objectives that the leaders participating in the program will undergo, which are learning about the concept of future leaders and their role in the success of the institution, learning about how to develop future leaders and qualifying them to complete the job succession plan, and building the intellectual framework for modern methods of delegation, empowerment, and planning.

To prepare the second class of leaders, explain the importance of the leadership development process and its connection to other functions in human resources management, and enable participants to develop individual development plans and how to follow them, in addition to practical applications of the program.

The sources concluded by saying that the program is directed to senior officials in government agencies, namely the Undersecretary, the Assistant Undersecretary, and the like.
