GCC states share common destiny, bonds of brotherhood: Sheikh Fahd

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, said the unity of destiny, bonds of brotherhood, and integration that bring together the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in various fields — particularly in the security sector, are vital for maintaining stability and strengthening the joint Gulf journey.
He was addressing the Undersecretaries of the ministries of Interior of the GCC countries, ahead of their preparatory meeting for the 42nd meeting of the Gulf Interior Ministers.
Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, welcoming the participants to their “second home, Kuwait.”
He emphasized that the preparatory meeting is an important stage in the area of coordinating efforts and discussing issues of common interest, as well as in developing mechanisms for cooperation and the exchange of experiences among GCC interior ministries.
These efforts, he said, aim to enhance the efficiency of security agencies and reinforce regional stability.
Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef concluded by wishing the undersecretaries success in their deliberations, expressing confidence that their discussions would yield constructive outcomes that strengthen joint Gulf action and support security and stability across GCC countries.
