Finance Ministry warns against renting out state-licensed chalets, rest houses

The Ministry of Finance has reiterated its commitment to safeguarding state property and ensuring its proper use in accordance with approved laws and regulations, urging all beneficiaries of chalets and land plots designated as rest houses to strictly adhere to the terms of their administrative licenses.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the ministry emphasized that licensed sites must be used solely for the purposes for which they were allocated and must not be exploited in any manner that violates licensing conditions.
Among the key regulations highlighted by the ministry is the absolute prohibition on renting out chalets or rest-house plots to third parties under any circumstances. License holders have also been instructed to maintain the boundaries of their allocated sites and avoid any encroachment or unauthorized expansion beyond approved limits.
The ministry further stressed the importance of complying with all operational requirements governing the use of the properties and ensuring that all financial obligations and fees are paid on time without delay, Al-Jarida daily reports.
Officials warned that any violation of licensing terms or failure to meet associated obligations would result in legal and administrative action. Such measures may include the immediate termination of the license and the eviction of occupants from the site without prior notice or warning.
The ministry said these measures are aimed at preserving public assets, preventing misuse of state-owned properties, and ensuring that allocated sites continue to serve their intended purpose in accordance with established regulations.
