One dies, four injured after vehicle overturns on Al-Mutla’a Road
An Arab expatriate worker was killed and four others were injured after a four-wheel-drive vehicle carrying them overturned on Al-Mutla’a Road.
A security source said the victims, all expatriate workers under the age of 40, were returning home after completing their shift at a construction site when the vehicle overturned for reasons that remain under investigation.
One worker died at the scene, while the four others suffered fractures and various injuries. Two of the injured were reported to be in unstable condition.
The source added that the relevant authorities have begun examining the circumstances surrounding the accident. Investigators have not ruled out the possibility that a tire burst caused by high temperatures may have contributed to the vehicle overturning.
