Finance Ministry names four new directors-general in leadership shake-up
Minister of Finance Dr. Yaqoub Al-Rifai has issued a series of ministerial decrees appointing four new directors general at the Ministry of Finance, as part of efforts to complete its leadership structure and enhance institutional efficiency in line with the ministry’s strategic priorities.
The appointments include Mohammed Noah Al-Osaimi as Director General of Financial and Tax Affairs, Saad Mohammed Al-Rashidi as Director General of Economic Affairs, Bader Nasser Al-Salal as Director General of Public Services, Storage and Procurement Systems, and Abdullah Hamoud Abu Shaiba as Director General of State Property Affairs.
The ministry said the decision reflects its commitment to strengthening national talent in senior leadership roles, with the aim of improving the quality of financial and administrative services and enhancing overall institutional performance.
It added that the new appointments are expected to support the ministry’s strategic objectives and contribute to the continued development of Kuwait’s financial governance framework.
