FAIPS-DPS Kuwait students embark on transformative educational tour to Japan

Students from FAIPS-DPS Kuwait recently returned from a culturally immersive and educational tour of Japan. Held from March 19 to March 27, 2025, the eight-day journey offered a remarkable opportunity for the students to explore Japan’s seamless blend of ancient traditions, natural beauty, and modern innovation.
The tour began in Tokyo, where the group marveled at the iconic Tokyo Skytree and enjoyed a lively stroll through the historic Asakusa district and Nakamise Street. A visit to the Miraikan Science Museum gave the students an engaging look into Japan’s futuristic technological developments, while the peaceful surroundings of Ueno Park showcased the country’s dedication to harmony between nature and culture.
Continuing their journey, the students took a scenic ride on the Owakudani Ropeway, followed by a tranquil cruise on Lake Ashi, capturing the serene beauty of Hakone. One of the highlights of the trip was the thrilling experience of riding the world-renowned Shinkansen (bullet train), reaching speeds up to 320 km/h as the group traveled toward Osaka.
In Osaka, the students explored the majestic Osaka Castle, shopped in the vibrant Shinsaibashi district, and ventured to Nara, where they visited the Nara Deer Park, the historic Todai-ji Temple, and the sacred Kasuga Taisha Shrine. They also enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of Yoshikien Garden, deepening their appreciation for Japan’s cultural and aesthetic values.
The adventure wouldn’t have been complete without a day of excitement at Universal Studios Japan, where students thrilled in world-class rides and entertainment, making unforgettable memories.
More than just a sightseeing tour, this journey served as a profound learning experience, encouraging students to develop cultural awareness, respect for diversity, and a global outlook.
From technological wonders to ancient landmarks, the trip provided valuable insights into Japan’s history, society, and environment, leaving a lasting impact on all participants.
