FAIPS DPS Class 6, immortalizes time in ‘Beyond the Clock Tower’

The corridors of Fahaheel Al Watanieh Indian Private School (FAIPS) buzzed with excitement on the morning of January 16, 2025. The students of Grade 6 were ready to celebrate their Annual Day with vibrant enthusiasm in the spacious auditorium.

The event was honored by the presence of His Excellency Eduardo Patricio Pena Haller, the Ambassador of the United Mexican States, who served as the Chief Guest. Ms. Amna Al Moamen, the Students Affairs Supervisor from the Ministry of Education, was the esteemed guest of honor.

The festivities began with an auspicious rendition of the Holy Quran, followed by the lighting of a ceremonial lamp. The Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and the parents present. In his address, he emphasized the importance of holistic child development and the vital role of parental support in helping children achieve their goals through active participation in school activities alongside their academic pursuits.

The theme for the day, “Journey Through Time,” transported the audience through various eras of civilization, brought to life by captivating stories, dances, and songs.

The event opened with a spectacular Welcome Dance, showcasing an amalgamation of seven Indian classical dances performed in perfect harmony. A dynamic tribal dance followed, with children swaying to the rhythmic beats of drums, illustrating the dawn of civilization.

The audience was mesmerized as the percussionists transformed sound into a vibrant symphony of energy and creativity. The beauty of peacocks spreading their blue and green feathers was a sight to behold as the graceful dancers won the hearts of the audience.

An uplifting English song created a world filled with joy, laughter, and love, promoting unity among mankind and fostering hope for a promising future. “Ripples Through Time” traced the passage of time, echoing fleeting moments and fascinating stories through the centuries.

The popular mime performance depicted the evolution of the world through expressive body motions without spoken words. The auditorium came alive with a dazzling Arabian dance, blending charm from the past with modernity while maintaining unique cultural elements. Finally, the energetic Evolution Dance and the Mario Dance received thunderous applause from the audience, as the exuberant dancers transported them into a future where dreams could take flight.

In his address, Chief Guest His Excellency Eduardo Patricio Pena Haller congratulated the students for their outstanding performances. He commended the hard work of the teachers and stressed the importance of instilling values in the younger generation.

The two shining stars of FAIPS, Bhavanya Panchumarthi and Sruthi Vagvala, were honored by the Chief Guest for their achievements at the Kuwait International Chess Festival Tournament and the CBSE National Badminton Championship 2024, respectively.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from the Headmistress of the Middle School, Ms. Deepa Elizabeth, who expressed her gratitude to the management, faculty, parents, and students for their dedicated efforts in making the day a truly memorable experience.
