DSP live at Kuwait – A celebration of music, energy, and community spirit
The Telugu Kala Samithi (TKS) celebrated “DSP LIVE @ KUWAIT”, featuring India’s music sensation Devi Sri Prasad. The event, held on October 24, 2025 at the Al Arabi Sports Club, Mansouriya, drew a crowd of over 5,000 music lovers, making it an eventful cultural extravaganza.
Prasad kept the audience on their feet with his electrifying energy, dance moves, and crowd-thrilling numbers. With a career spanning chart-topping hits across Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema, DSP turned Kuwait’s night sky into a celebration of music and unity.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. C. Divakar Reddy TUDA Chairman, Tirupati, who commended the Telugu community for their remarkable unity and contribution to Kuwait’s multicultural spirit.
At the helm of this grand success was TKS President Mr. Hemchand Basva, whose leadership and commitment turned months of planning into a flawless production. Supported by the VP Mr Sekhar, GS Mr Nani, JS Mrs Priya , Treasurer Mr Sreedhar, Area Executives, Advisors, Welfare Committee, PC, PR, Ladies Wing and a dedicated team of volunteers. Mr. Basva led the initiative to bring DSP and his 30-member live troupe to Kuwait — a dream realized through relentless hard work and community passion.
Executing an event of this scale involved approvals from the Kuwait authorities, coordinated security to ensureg a safe and seamless experience.
The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by 25+ food and marketing stalls, alongside the invaluable contribution of sponsors, whose generous support made event possible. Sponsor representatives graced the occasion with their presence, adding to the grandeur and spirit of the night.
Adding to the prestige, a 120-page souvenir was released to commemorate the event — a tribute to TKS’s continued mission of promoting Telugu art and culture in Kuwait.
Despite minor sound-check delays from DSP and a few unexpected technical hitches, the energy never dipped. The audience stayed charged till the last note as DSP delivered one powerhouse performance after another, reaffirming why he remains India’s most loved live performer.
With DSP LIVE @ KUWAIT, Telugu Kala Samithi has once again set a new benchmark for cultural excellence — uniting thousands under one roof for a night that will forever echo in Kuwait’s history.
