Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Minister of Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, has issued 14 temporary transfer decisions for supervisory roles, signaling a proactive approach to bolstering municipal affairs. Among the appointments approved by Al-Mishaan are Meshal Al-Daihani as Director of the Municipal Services Audit and Follow-up Department, Daham Al-Anazi as Public Cleanliness Monitor, and Mohammed Al-Mutairi as Safety Licenses Monitor in the Jahra Governorate Municipality. Similarly, Khaled Al-Otaibi has been appointed Director of the Safety Department, and Anfal Al-Abdullah as Building Licenses Monitor in the Al-Ahmadi Governorate Municipality branch, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Further decisions include the assignment of Salah Al-Rashidi as Director of the Safety Department, Salah Al-Azmi as Director of the Engineering Audit and Follow-up Department, and Saud Al-Harbi as Director of the Municipal Services Licensing Department in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate Municipality Branch.
Additionally, Nasser Al-Dhafiri has been tasked with the duties of Director of the Engineering Audit and Follow-up Department, and Muhammad Al-Mutairi as Director of the Municipal Services Licensing Department in the Hawalli Governorate Municipality Branch. Other appointments include Abdullah Al-Mutairi as Job Budget Controller, Maha Al-Hakak as Follow-up and Budget Controller, Tariq Al-Mutairi as Research Controller, and Latifa Al-Kandari as Accounting Controller.
Al-Mashaan emphasized the importance of submitting a financial disclosure statement to the Anti-Corruption Public Authority (Nazaha) within 60 days of assigning department director positions, in accordance with Article 2 of the 2016 decree establishing the authority.
These appointments reflect the Ministry’s commitment to transparency, efficiency, and accountability in municipal affairs, aiming to enhance governance and public service delivery across various sectors.
