Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi emphasized that internal medicine doctors are the cornerstone of Kuwait’s healthcare system.
In his opening remarks at the Kuwait Association of Internal Medicine conference, he highlighted the importance of unity among internal medicine physicians, who play a critical role in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, research, and education, according to KUNA.
Al-Awadhi shared the Ministry’s strategic vision to support internal medicine, including providing advanced equipment, launching training programs, and implementing preventative strategies for chronic diseases.
He also emphasized the adoption of AI and digital medicine technologies to enhance healthcare efficiency.
The conference, organized by Dr. Abdullah Al-Othman, aimed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among internal medicine departments across Kuwait’s hospitals, improving the quality of healthcare services.
